DGSA-FAC PROJECT 3rd TRANSNATIONAL MEETING (AUSTRIA-GRAZ)
The transnational project meeting, which could not be held face-to-face for a long time due to the pandemic, has been held in Graz, Austria as planned.
The 3rd transnational project meeting of the DGSA FAC (Development of Field Application Competences of Dangerous Goods Safety Advisors) Project was successfully held in Graz (Austria) on 27-28 September 2021 with the participation of the coordinating organization TMGDK-DER and all partners. At the meeting, the timeline of the project which was extended until November 2022 due to the pandemic was rearranged while the partners made their presentations about the activities under their responsibility.
After the project meeting, all participants participated in the cultural tour of the city of Graz organized by the host organization BIT Management.
DGSA-FAC PROJECT TEAM CONTINUES ITS WORK DESPITE THE PANDEMY
Our EU project titled “Developing of Dangerous Goods Safety Advisors’ Field Application Competences” presented by TMGDK-DER during the 2019 call for proposals which is within the scope of Erasmus + Program Strategic Partnerships for Vocational Education (KA202) activity, first year period is about to fill.
Due to the duration of the pandemic, our project was issued by the National Agency of Turkey’s 15 months to 24 months.
The project team, who cannot hold face-to-face meetings due to Covid 19, supports the execution of the project with Skype interviews at regular intervals. Italy, Austria, the project team consists of participants from Turkey and Spain has made the country so far 5 Skype meeting. The 5th meeting was held on October 26, 2020. The studies conducted in the framework of the project in meeting TMGDK-DER leadership from Turkey were evaluated and are made planning for the future. Until this time, two important intellectual outputs of the project have been studied. National and international reports on the TMGD profile and training practices in partner countries have been completed. Common competencies table was prepared, and sample digital materials were started to be produced. We hope that our project, which deals with online education and the use of digital materials, will benefit the industry.
